    I love this kit. My son and I have had a blast putting some of the things together and downloading the instructions to a tablet to follow along. All of the parts are quality and I feel like will last. I also really like that they include a tray so you can sort out the small pieces from each other.The programing is fairly easy to follow along with. Just make sure your child is old enough to understand. It does recommend 6yr and older and I feel like this is accurate. My son is 6.

    I really like that this is not a closed end set. You can do much more that just a fixed set of projects with this set. You can use the different elements with programming to make very different projects. A lot of robotic sets will only make one thing or only a limited set of things due to limited parts. This not the only offering from Whalesbot and it looks like sets could be combined if you got further into the system.

    Of all the things included in this robot coding set, I am glad to have a case for the parts. This set is very giftable. My grandson loves it. Still, I would advise working with or at least supervising the child while building this robot. Some can do it alone; however, others will need and appreciate the guidance. The story tutorials are very helpful and fun. The children can build more than one robot. They use their imagination, and this set allows for a range of creative projects. Lots of fun and learning at a great price.
