How can I get support for hardware malfunctions?
If you experience issues such as unresponsive motors, sensors, or controllers, please follow the steps below before contacting our support team:
Step 1: Perform basic troubleshooting
Try the following checks to help identify the issue:
✅ Motor not working?
• Switch to a different building model or test program to see if the motor functions.
• Make sure the motor is connected to the correct port (e.g., Port A/B).
• Replace or fully charge the batteries.
✅ Controller not responding?
• Ensure the power switch is ON and batteries are correctly inserted.
• Look for any LED or sound indicators when powered on.
• Try restarting the controller or resetting it if available.
✅ Sensors not responding?
• Re-insert the sensor cables firmly and try a different port.
• Avoid environments that are too bright, too dark, or reflective.
• Use a built-in sample program to test sensor feedback.
Step 2: Submit a support request
If the problem persists, please record a short video showing the issue and send it to our support team via [technicalsupport@whalesbot.com] or our contact form.
Step 3: Warranty replacement
Once the issue is confirmed as a product defect, we will arrange a replacement part under our 1-year warranty (for non-user-caused damage).
